If you feel like entering a competition with a chance of winning a beautiful candlestick, post a comment on Alvas hus. You have until the end of Febuary, but why wait?
You never know, and you might get a nice present that will chase the shadows the darkness away and bring the innocens of winter snow, the pruity of spring flowers, the brightness of a summer night and the magic of autumn mist to your home.

Strong in heart, strong in mind
It's amazing how many strong women there have been. Many admired for the work they've done, and many copied. Like the famous pose of Greta Lovisa Gustafsson (or Greta Garbo as she is known to the world) that was copied by Madonna for one of her album covers...
But truly Greta was the first of her kind. The big silent brunette in a world full of all the blonds all looking alike. Her posture was that of a queen. So strong, gracious and serious. She was beauty and she was glamour.

no name - no face?
Would you remember my name or my face? Do you connect a name to a face, or is it the other way around? Maybe the name makes you think of someone's essence.
So what do you think of first: Name, Face, or Essence?
I would like to think that the essence comes first, but that might be because I nowadays often forget people's names and I rarely remember their faces. So when I think f someone, it's their essence I have in mind. This if it is someone I know.
When you meet someone for the first time what is it you notice first of all:
Name, Face, or Essence?
I guess that the essence is hard to notice when you haven't yet gotten to know someone, so then it has to be the face, because you always see someone before you start talking to them.
So the face comes first, but is the face what makes you remember them?

Back to the home country
So I am back in the snow for a few months. At last. Since I missed out on the winter and Christmas + New Year 2006 it feels really nice to get the same old that I had as a child.
Started with snowboarding... so at least I have learnt how to turn both ways and to use the button lift. At least something, but I might need to get a backside-protection.
Today I made the first cross country tracks of the year!!!! And hoping for another go tomorrow. It has been snowing for some time, so it should only get better.
Staying until the beginning of April and then...

What is more importante: the Lock or the Key?
The blackness of despair is growing in the light of the others
No turning back from all that has a been
Where do you go from here
How do you climb up from a bottomless pit if you have not yet landed
Staying within the frames of sanity to keep the surroundings in place
Looking through the keyhole
Never opening the door
Locked up is the true image of yourself and she has swallowed the key.
